Co-production with Varna Dance Theatre

We are excited to introduce ViRTuAI #1, the first step in a two-year international European dance and digital arts project. This initiative marks the beginning of a new collaboration between Polish, German, and Bulgarian partners, aiming to explore innovative intersections between dance, VR, AI, and digital art.

ViRTuAI #1 is a unique initiative at the intersection of technology and art, bringing together creators, technologists, and performers to explore new frontiers in digital expression. Through the use of VR, AI-generated art, and dance, we aim to foster cross-cultural collaboration and create interactive experiences that transcend traditional artistic mediums.

The topic of the project addresses one of the defining themes of our time, where people are constantly connected and overwhelmed by images, creating a continuous duality of “reality vs. virtual.” The opportunity to explore this theme, makes our work relevant on a cross-generational level.

We are confident that this collaboration will serve as a strong foundation for an upcoming Creative Europe project strengthening artistic ties and expanding the possibilities of immersive digital performance. We greatly appreciate the opportunity to work alongside Bulgarian institutions and creators, and we are eager to develop this project further with your support for the first steps.
